Meredith Cole — Landscape Designer
Meredith has been with Homestead Gardens for more than ten years. Developing a passion for plants began while she worked in Homestead Gardens’ retail garden center during summer breaks home from college.
Meredith received her Bachelor of Science degree from Virginia Tech in Environmental Science and Chemistry. She has been able to combine her plant knowledge, appreciation for the natural environment, artistic talent, and her own fascination with design and architecture into the perfect position as a landscape designer.
She continues to have a passion for helping people transform and enjoy their outdoor spaces by combining function with aesthetics. There is a great satisfaction in being able to design and manage project development, from initial client meetings to final finished landscapes.
A local resident, Meredith lives in Crofton with her husband and son. In her spare time, she enjoys trips to the beach, painting, and spending time outdoors.
Janey Martinez — Landscape Designer
Janey has been with Homestead Gardens for a number of years as a certified landscape designer who continually enjoys the challenge of each new landscape project that presents itself.
Growing up in northern Ohio and moving to Maryland over ten years ago, she is always in awe of the warmer and longer seasons, and the extended plant palette that allows her to design outdoor rooms and living spaces that reflect each individual customer’s lifestyle. Bringing the awareness of all senses and personal needs and visions into the landscape is the goal for a successful landscape design.
Janey resides in Anne Arundel county with her husband and children.
