ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - LANDSCAPING Responsibilities include answering the phones in a courteous and professional manner, scheduling customers for their landscape design consultations and following up to ensure follow-through and excellent customer service at all levels. Must be detail-oriented. Directly related experience with a landscaping company highly preferred. CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT This individual will be responsible for answering customer calls in a professional manner, taking their orders for purchasing plant material, walking with them through the production facility to show them the plants available, and coordinating their delivery. Experience in a plant nursery environment highly preferred. Experience working in a growing facility highly preferred. CASHIER - WHOLESALE DIVISION Duties include answering the phone, stocking and maintaining the wholesale store clean, helping set up deliveries and creating orders for landscaping customers. FOOD SERVICE ATTENDANTS We are looking for individuals to staff the in-store cafe, as well as participate in the seasonal festivities by serving food to our customers. Must be dependable and professional. VEGETABLE FARMER NEEDED Homestead Growers, a division of Homestead Gardens, has an immediate need for an experienced vegetable farmer that will grow and distribute produce grown in the property. Responsibilities include sowing, fertilizing and monitoring the growth of the vegetable crops and identifying and addressing diseases to ensure optimum quality. Must be able to drive farming equipment. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in farming vegetables required. Housing provided on the property at a reasonable rate.
